Mark your calendars for the next Virginia Science Festival on Sept 26th! The Virginia Science Festival is a large-scale, highly visible interactive event that combines the worlds of science,technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM). Organized by the Science Museum of Western Virginia and Virginia Tech, the festival offers a wealth of activities, hands-on experiences, live performances and interactive demonstrations.

You’ll come face-to-face with science professionals from across Virginia and their amazing research and achievements! All ages will be inspired, so be prepared for EXCITEMENT, ENJOYMENT, and SCIENCE ENTERTAINMENT!

Instrument Maker Camp - for Teachers Only! at the ​Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology

When: July 20-July 23, 2015, 9 AM to 4 PM*
Where: ICAT at the Moss Arts Center, Virginia Tech
Cost: $175 includes make-and-take and lunch

    NASA Issues 2015 Small Spacecraft Technology Program, Smallsat Technology Partnerships Appendix

    Proposal Due Date: June 8, 2015 5:00PM ET NASA is extending an opportunity to college and university teams to propose small spacecraft technology projects to be conducted in collaboration with NASA researchers.
