        • Dr. Rosenzweig – VT K-12 STEM Outreach
          • Participated in the Seed Program
            • This program focuses on informal education
        • Jean Brickey - Staff Senator
            • Job is to get staff involved in programs & provide administrative support.
            • Staff is going to be asked to be involved in Community Service.
        • Stephanie Huckestein - Hahn Horticulture Garden 
          • Working on developing horticulture programs on campus & taking the Garden to the community.
          • Three day workshop presentation on the watershed given by Llyn Sharp
          • Works with project FAST
            • A project to get 6th grade girls involved in STEM
          • Offering workshops in STEM for educators
          • Adopted VT K-12 STEM as the signature program.
        • Tom Wilson - Upward Bound
            • Brought 75 students to campus this summer for academics
            • Took 10-20 students to visit surrounding colleges in Virginia
            • Offer assistance to students in scholarship writing
        • Patty Gaudreau – MCPS Science Coordinator
          • Public School contact for MCPS public schools
        • Tamim Younos - Water Resources Research Center
          • Works on the watershed and the duck pond
          • Works on science teacher training for water shed curricula.
          • Has student working on the impact of the golf course on the duck pond.
        • John Wenrich - Aerospace and Ocean Engineering
          • Sending information to website on future conference for working with gifted students
        • Bill Duggins - Engineering Education
          • First Lego League has moved from VT to James Madison University 
          • Over 1200 students are involved in First Lego League.
          •  Currently working on expansion of the 4-H robotics programs
        • Faith Stamps - Institute for Advanced Learning & Research
          • Currently working on MSP Grants
        • Laura Buchanan -Institute for Advanced Learning & Research
          • Involved with the summer camp at Virginia Museum of Natural History.
        • Mark Sanders – STEM Education
          • Introduced the Integrated STEM Education Program at VT
            • Offered handout for courses offered.
            • Is starting to offer classes on line in STEM Education
            • Currently has a high school working on a Integrated STEM High school
        • John Wells – STEM Education
          • Currently working on Auburn High School Research in intergrading curriculum
            • Stated that George Yakman is starting to implement STEM at Pulaski Middle school 
        • Shelly Jobst – Outreach Program Development
          • Primary responsibility to provide support for undergrads
            • Working on research to identify STEM programs in Virginia.
        • Ann Brown
          • Has offered a number of contractual programs for Virginia Dept of Ed
        • Mittsy Vernon - Phoebes Field
          • Working on mobile unit to take the Phoebes school to the public
            • One objective to bring girls into science.
        • Daphna Rainey - Virginia Bioinformatics Institute (VBI)
          • Involved with Galileo Program
            • Working on expending program to reach students that may not have access to the resources others may have.
            • Also working on Bioinformatics workshops.
        • Ed McPherson - VT Stars Program
          • Announced a program that is supported by Exxon Mobile
        • Kathleen Jamison - 4-H Youth Dev. Curriculum & Learning
          • Identified program as moving from informal to formal education
        • Nick Furman - 4-H Youth Dev. Curriculum & Learning
          • AKA - Ranger Nick
            •  Looked at using live animals in teaching.
        • Lea Hamblin - Virginia Bioinformatics Institute (VBI)
        • Penny McCallum - Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center
        • Angela ??? – CPE
        • Jim Carlson – STEM Education
          • Worked with the CEED Imagination program this summer
        • Llyn Sharp – VT STEM K-12 Outreach
